Some unknown Cybercriminals group using the name of hacktivist group Anonymous to spreading ransomware malware. This new ransomware malware has been discovered by the Swiss security blog, Abuse.ch.

Your computer has been hacked by the Anonymous Hackers Group and locked for the moment.

Ransomware is a type of malware, which restricts access to the computer system and claims to breaking the law enforcement to scare victims (such as illegally downloaded file, found child pornography on their compute, violation of SOPA etc) and demands a ransom payment to remove restrictions as a fine.

But on this ransomware malware, hackers ask to pay a ransom of £100(approx. $160) within 24 hours to get back your computer to normal,

here is what they said:

We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.

Your computer has been hacked by the Anonymous Hackers Group and locked for the moment. All files have been encrypted. You need to pay a ransom of £100 within 24 hours to restore the computer back to normal. If the ransom is not paid on time all the contents of your computer will be deleted and all your personal information such as your name, address, D.O.B., etc. will be published online, after this has been done the process, ram and motherboard will be fried. Any attempts to remove this virus will result in the consequences mentioned.

In the message hackers, used the Tango down, which is only used by Anonymous group when they take down a website,

F-Secure, chief research officer also tweeted about the ransomware, that anonymous is not behind this.
